Building on the Strength of its 2025 Results, WING Group Delivered Outstanding Double Digit Growth in H1 2026

2026-10-01

WING Group’s revenue increased by 41% and EBITDA by 23% in the first six months of 2026 compared with the same period a year earlier. Total assets stood at HUF 1,358 billion at the end of June, with nearly 63% of the Group’s asset base located in Poland and Germany.

Consolidated revenue reached HUF 130.3 billion, driven primarily by a higher volume of residential development handovers. EBITDA rose to HUF 19.5 billion from HUF 15.9 billion a year earlier. The Group’s total loans and bond liabilities decreased by HUF 24 billion (3%) compared with year-end 2025. Financing costs fell by HUF 2.1 billion (10%) year on year.

“Our results for the first half of 2026, following a record year in 2025, demonstrate the success of our consistent execution of WING’s long-term growth strategy. Higher residential handover volumes are already making a substantial contribution to our performance, while new projects and acquisitions are laying the foundation for growth in the years ahead. Operating across three countries allows us to capture development and investment opportunities in multiple markets, while maintaining a strong focus on financial stability,” said Noah Steinberg, Chairman and CEO of WINGHOLDING Zrt.

Key business highlights during the period included the closing of the sale of part of the Resi4Rent rental housing portfolio in Poland and the disposals of Buildings A and B of the Brain Park office complex in Kraków. In Hungary, the Group’s portfolio expanded with the acquisition of the Capital Square Office Building, the Olympia Office Building and development land and the property at 39 Váci Road, where KPMG’s future headquarters will be built. In Germany, Bauwert continued to implement its growth strategy by launching new residential projects and advancing ongoing developments in Berlin.

WING Group’s strategy currently focuses on the development of residential properties and related real estate assets. This forms the foundation of the Group’s long-term growth across all three countries, as demonstrated by the significant results achieved in the first half of 2026. Its commercial real estate presence, including offices, industrial properties, hotels and retail assets, complements its residential activities and provides high-quality, long-term, and sustainable properties for its tenants, as well as stable and predictable returns for its investors and partners.
