The headquarters of Telekom, a WING development, has a new tenant: Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions has moved to its new headquarters in the iconic office building that defines the cityscape of south Pest. This means that one of the largest office buildings in Hungary now has multiple tenants. There is still leasable space available to prospective tenants.

The headquarters of Magyar Telekom, a WING development and one of the largest and most modern office buildings in the country, was completed in 2018. With its spectacular silhouette, this unique building has been a key element of the cityscape in District 9. It comprises 58,000 square meters of leasable area in total, 11,000 of which is now leased by Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions. Beside the offices now occupied by telecom companies, an additional 7,500 square meters are available to future tenants.

‘As one of the leading office developers in the Hungarian property market, it has always been a priority for WING to provide quality solutions to our tenants’ needs— to do this, it is essential that we adapt to the evolving expectations of the corporate world and the property market. We are proud to report that we have been successful in our efforts: another company has decided to move its headquarters to the Telekom building. With the new tenant, we have reached a major milestone: this is now a multi-tenant building with additional category A+ office spaces available to prospective tenants,’ said Gábor Angel, WING Zrt.’s Deputy CEO for Office Developments.

The building, owned by WING and managed by Telekom, offers a number of great features and services to existing and prospective tenants. Services available include a restaurant, a café, a gym, a running track, a car wash, bicycle racks with changing rooms, an underground parking garage and a conference room. Tenants will also have access to the premium services of the Liberty complex, an office building soon to be completed right next door. This is a creative and inspiring business environment, and the dynamics of the two office buildings will create a lively community space for those working here. The office building also has environmentally friendly solutions, which are now expected in the Budapest office market, and has a BREEAM Excellent certification.

Besides offering great services, Telekom HQ is also easily accessible: those arriving via Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport enter the city centre through here. The recently renovated M3 metro line offers a direct and convenient connection to the city centre, and tram no. 1 is a fast alternative. National and international routes are available from the Népliget bus station and the Ferencváros railway station. The Lurdy Ház shopping centre is nearby, and there are several grocery stores and a number of restaurants and cultural attractions in the vicinity. There have been significant developments in this part of the city recently, which enhance the prestige of the office building’s neighbourhood.
